Psh, I’ll be at 140,000 by the end of the week. And then the old girl gets inner tie rods and rear brakes as a present.
I’d brag more but my Distronic has finally fried...

Are you gonna apply for a mileage badge at 155,000 miles? I don’t mind the fact that I never had distronic. Does it have an automatic braking function?

Hell yeah! And it will feature prominently on my new grille as soon as it arrives!
And yes: even v1.0 distronic was adaptive cruise with automatic braking and forward collision alert tying in with the Pre-Safe system. If you watch Doug’s video on the Maybach 57s he explains all of it’s functions...while under the false assumption that it was Maybach exclusive.

I plan on keeping this thing for as long as I can, although I’m going to have to be insane to have two out of warranty V12 Benzes. That being said, I still want a Maybach 57 Zeppelin.

I demand cost per mile figures on that S600

I’m too inebriated to go hunting for invoices right now, but so far as I can tell I’ve got near about $14,500 in just maintenance into the car, spread out over 21,000 miles, or about $.70 a mile in just upkeep. Factor in the payment ($17,000), gas($3,335 roughly), and insurance($7000 roughly) I’m at roughly $1.99 a mile all in. And you know what ? I’d gladly do it again tomorrow.

My tdi golf is about 1500 away from the big 200,000 and I hope to get another 200,000 out of her.

I will probably hit 200k miles in my E46 next week. Time to look at GTIs.

The second a 2004 Type 57 comes on the market with enough miles to drop it below $40,000, I’m trading out.
But I have to have blue with red flanks and A/C seats which were hit or miss in ‘04.

My tile guy is looking for a GTI, or an XKR. He’s an interesting dude.

Jesus, that’s such an awful idea lol. I’d join you in that crusade, but my pump exploded this morning lol. 100,027 miles and it went.

Well...current OEM price on PelicanParts is only $1860 for the pump.

I’ve seen them as high as $2,100. Depends on what stock is at the time
